Hi I am confused about the ruler worksheet (144)… I was looking at the ruler originally like 1/16, 3/8, 1/4 etc … I am using the homework to test my understanding of the material for the test so i wanted to check my answers and when i checked my answers online i had gotten 1-6 correct, but i got 7 and 8 wrong.. i think i got 1-6 correct because it was “simplified” … but then does that mean the marks are 1/8, 2/8. 3/8, 4/8 (which is simplified to 1/2) .. if that is correct do you want the answers in 8th or the simplified version? also do the smaller tick marks not count as anything? where normally they would be 16th? I apologize if this is confusing but it seems different from a typical measuring tape/ruler type of identification ?
I’m not certain what you mean when you say you checked your answers–they’re not online.
If I say, “measure to the nearest 1/8th” that means no sixteenths, 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 and whole numbers are OK.
If I say, “measure to the nearest 1/16th,” that means every notch on the ruler is OK.

Hi, I have a question about the blueprint homework. I do not see a number to scale the shapes? In the one we did as a class for H we used 35. Should we use 35 for all of them?
