Here’s what’s on tap for today:
- Using your tapes, measure, to the nearest foot, the dimensions of a room or hallway on the 2nd floor. Fill out page 48 in the manual.
- Working in groups, use your rulers to measure the sides and diameters of the shapes on the tabloid pages provided. Use the formulas on page 46 to calculate the perimeters and areas of the shapes. Use FRACTIONS NOT DECIMALS. Enter your group’s answers on the KwikKwiz form.
- If time permits, read the percentage, (pages 30 and 31), metric and American units lessons (Chapter 4), and work on the homeworks.
